“The forget-me-not by the wayside speaks of love that never fades.”
- Christian Morgenstern

For us, the Vergissmeinnicht is more than just a house – it’s a little piece of home that we’re delighted to share with you. It was precisely this feeling that inspired us to lovingly renovate the old family home in early 2024 and give it the name “Vergissmeinnicht”.

It was important to us not to obscure the history of the house, but to preserve its time-honoured charm and carry it forward with care. In an age where so much has become anonymous, we wanted to consciously create a place that radiates personality and warmth. Not an impersonal arrival, but a genuine welcome. Vergissmeinnicht is meant to feel like a home away from home – a place you’ll be happy to return to and where lasting memories are made.

Behind every place with a soul are people with heart. That’s why we’d now like to tell you a little bit about ourselves...

Elena Creative hostess & organisation with a heart

Elena
Creative hostess & organisation with a heart

Hi, I’m Elena and at Aparthaus Vergissmeinnicht I’m in charge of reception, organisation and everything that makes your stay special and hassle-free. I’ve always been fascinated by people and their stories – perhaps that’s why I studied sociology. This interest in meeting people continues to shape my role as a host to this day.

As well as the organisational side of things, I love giving free rein to my creative streak – whether on our social media channels or in the little, playful details around the house. My personal favourite spot is our balcony with a view of the mountains – a place that inspires and, at the same time, allows you to unwind. Cooking is also a real passion of mine: with great joy and attention to detail, I create our platters entirely to your taste and turn them into little moments of indulgence.

A warm host, gardening enthusiast & local guide

Hey, I’m Peter and I’m delighted to welcome you here. I take great care of the house and garden and actively support the organisation behind the scenes. I’ve always really enjoyed interacting directly with people. I love meeting guests from all over the world, ensuring they have a wonderful time and, as a local guide, sharing the odd insider tip or two.

My personal favourite spot is our garden. The peace and quiet, the blossoming plants and working with nature give me a sense of balance and renewed energy. At the same time, the garden reminds me of the days of our family business – memories that still shape this house today and make it a very special place for me.
